Most men die at 25, but aren't buried until they're 75

Ben Franklin (The man whos face is on the Dollar bill) said most men die at 25, but just aren't buried until they're 75.

Hopes and dreams often die by 25, so assuming no major life changes, is there really a difference between dying at 25 or dying at 75?

By the end of this email, you'll have a serious spark under your ass to progress!

Ben was talking about “not growing”.

If you're not growing, you're dying.

I'm a firm believer in this.

So then, how do you NOT die?

You keep pushing yourself.

You stay curious about hair.

You surround yourself with people better than you.

If you look around and you're not inspired by the people you work with, like genuinely, deeply inspired, then it's time to think about leveling up yourself.

This doesn't mean they're not good people. It just means that they're not fuelling your career or life.

You don't need to look for somewhere else to work or anything, but you do need to actively search for people who you can extract information from.

It's your duty to progress.

For your clients, and for yourself.

You are obligated to develop your knowledge and skills.

Your clients put their trust in you to give them the best.

Or, you can keep playing on the same level as those around you. Keep showing up the same every day because "it's your job".

Stay where you are and be left behind by those who keep pushing for more.

Trust me, it will happen.

I've seen it many times.

Why are all the youngsters better at cutting hair than the olders who've "been in the industry for 20+ years"?

Because the olders decided to stop learning.

So they're getting left for dust.

Every day you don't learn something new, you're dying like the olders.

Don't do it.

Don't turn into dust and be forgotten about.

You have a unique skill and the ability to push for more.

Keep growing.

You already made it to this point, why stop now?

Speak soon,

Nath
